SECURITY SYSTEM AND ITS OPERATING METHOD FOR SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A security system for an SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system and operation method thereof are provided to embody safe and high reliable communication by encrypting and decrypting control and measurement information transmitted to a network of the SCADA system and received from the network of the SCADA system. CONSTITUTION: An SCADA server(20) is arranged at the center of a network constituted at a power system. The SCADA server monitors the operation control and state of a lower node. A security apparatus(50) respectively contacts to the SCADA server and the lower node. The security apparatus detects invasion in the network. The security apparatus encrypts data by changing the security key of the transmitted and received data according to detecting results.
