<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method which are improved for processing XML documents. <P>SOLUTION: By combining a pull-based streaming parser 104 such as StAX with an XML object binding framework such as XMLBeans 105, an XML document 107 of arbitrary size can be processed without being a subject for memory limitations. In addition, by providing a framework 102 that insulates an application code from StAX and XMLBeans, application data objects are not required to recognize StAX and XMLBeans.
