<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information acquisition device which acquires information (thickness, material, surface state, moisture content and the like of an object) on the object, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: An information acquisition device 10 includes: a heat source 11 for heating a part of an object P; an infrared image sensor 12 for acquiring a temperature distribution pattern X of the object P after having been heated; a memory 13 for storing a predetermined comparison pattern Y; and an information processing section 14 for comparing the temperature distribution pattern X with the comparison pattern Y, and acquiring information on the object P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
