JET PUMP SYSTEM OF HYDROELECTRIC GENERATING EQUIPMENT, ITS USE METHOD, AND HYDROELECTRIC GENERATING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jet pump system of hydroelectric generating equipment that can effectively utilize water energy, which has wastefully been abandoned via a spillway.

SOLUTION: The jet pump system of the hydroelectric generating equipment comprises: an drain pipe 15 immersed into water stored in an drain pit 14 at its one end; a jet pump 13 which has a nozzle 13A movably arranged in the axial direction of the drain pipe 15, and is configured to open and close the nozzle 13A associated with the movement of the nozzle 13A; a moving mechanism 16 which moves the nozzle 13A in the axial direction of the drain pipe 15; an introduction conduit 17 which introduces water injected from the tip of the nozzle 13A to the jet pump 13, and in which first and second branch conduits 18, 19 which are branched into two passages upstream of the jet pump 13 and merged with each other are interposed in the middle of the introduction conduit; a switching valve 20 which selectively guides water to either the first branch conduit 18 or the second branch conduit 19; and a hydraulic turbine generator 21 which is arranged in the second branch conduit 19 and driven by water.
