METHOD FOR MONITORING AND RESTORING ABNORMAL EVENTS OF EMBEDDED SYSTEMS

PURPOSE: An abnormal state monitoring/recovery method of an embedded system is provided to normally restore a function of an embedded system in case an application program is in an infinite loop. CONSTITUTION: A system is initialized before the performance of an application program(200). The application program is performed(202). A routine for periodically accessing a memory address is added to the application program. If the application program is performed, the memory is periodically accessed(204). If the memory is not periodically accessed, interrupt is generated(206). The system is re-operated after initialization.
