MANUFACTURING METHODS OF FUNTIONAL PEARLITES MIXTURE OF CATION AND ANION IONS AND ITS MIXTURE FOR ADSORPTION

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a functional pearlite hybrid and the functional pearlite hybrid are provided to reduce the using amount of fertilizer and to reduce environmental contamination due to the discharging of the fertilizer. CONSTITUTION: Cations are absorbed on pearlite by directly attaching zeolite particles to the pearlite or coating and drying a zeolite solution on the pearlite. Anions are absorbed on the cation absorbed pearlite by modifying the surface of the pearlite using metal salts or cation surfactant. The cation absorbed pearlite and the anion absorbed pearlite are mixed using a binder such that an absorbed layer is formed.
