<p>The invention relates to a metal element to be used in constructions for making posts and frame struts as well as independent beams and supporting pillars. According to the invention, the metal element comprises some rolled open profiles (A and B) mounted face to face, in an upside down position to each other, each of the two profiles (A and B) having a central web (1) provided with some central equally spaced fastening holes (a) in which there are introduced some screws with nuts or some rivets, said central web (1) being linked to some inclined walls (2 and 3) which are continued by some vertical walls (4 and 5) continued by some horizontal bases (6 and 7) provided with some U-shaped stiffening grooves (8 and 9), namely an upper groove and a lower groove, respectively, which are made so that upon mounting the open profiles (A and B), the lower groove (9) of the first open profile (A) is accommodated within the upper groove (8) of the second open profile (B) and the lower groove (9) of the second open profile (B) is accommodated within the upper groove (8) of the first open profile (A), where in the upper and lower grooves (8 and 9) there are provided some similar oblong axial slots (b and c) whose axes correspond to the axes of the fastening holes (a), some self-cutting screws (11) or some rivets being introduced between the central fastening holes (a), as well as between the oblong slots (b and c), along the axes thereof and, at both ends of the open profiles (A and B) there being provided some individual nuts (13 and 14) and some fixing plates (15 and 16) provided with some threaded holes.</p> |
