The post has an operating handle (11) secured on a profile (6). A sliding locking control element (13) is mounted to pivot a locking position to an unlocking position, so as to drive a lock control shaft perpendicular to a plane of the profile, where a rotating axis is rotatably mounted inside a fixing point e.g. tubular element (15), of the profile to the operating handle. The fixing point is located at a longitudinal end of the operating handle. The sliding locking control element is connected to the control shaft by a connecting arm.
