The present invention relates to a production method of hydrogel -metal composite which is prepared in order to be used in hydrogen production and various environmental practices, and prepared in the form of hydrogels comprising synthesized metal nanoparticles or metal nanoclusters. The objective of the present invention is to realize a production method of hydrogel -metal composite and preparation of hydrogel -metal composites which can form long- lasting catalytic systems via catalysts embedded into hydrogel support material.
