<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine that uses a single turbine wheel or turbine-wheel assembly to handle a plurality of fluids having different pressures, thereby decreasing the number of the components and reducing the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The turbine is an expansion turbine 1 including a radial turbine wheel 15 that includes a main channel 23 in which a blade height increases incrementally, and that axially discharges a fluid that flows in from a main inlet 27 located to the outer peripheral side of the radial turbine wheel to the main channel 23, the fluid rotating with the principal velocity component thereof being in the radial direction. The radial turbine wheel 15 includes a secondary channel 25 that branches off from a hub 17 side face of the main channel 23, at a position that is radially inwards of the main inlet 27, and runs to the back face side of the main channel 23. A secondary inlet 35 is formed at the outer peripheral end of the secondary channel 25, at a different radial position from the main inlet 27, and a fluid having a pressure different from that of the fluid supplied via the main inlet 27 is supplied via the secondary inlet. The main inlet 27 and the secondary inlet 35 are separated by a rear plate 26 adjusted in terms of a gap from the main channel 23 or the secondary channel 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
