PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing Chi decoy oligodeoxynucleotide is provided to reduce transcription factor expression in an animal model with chronic renal failure. CONSTITUTION: A Chi(chimeric) decoy oligodeoxynucleotide is denoted by sequence number 1 or 2. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating renal failure contains Chi decoy oligodeoxynucleotide as an active ingredient. The composition is applied to fibrosis-associated various diseases, angiogenesis, and cell dysplasia. A method for delivering the Chi decoy oligodeoxynucleotide to a glomerulus by HVJ-liposome-mediated, adenovirus-mediated, or Mirus liposome mediated method. |
