Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a system for data relocation and a billing node. The method comprises: receiving a relocation request sent by a management node, the relocation request comprising a user's key value and a relocation type identifier; determining session information corresponding to the user's key value according to the user's key value, determining a relocation processing strategy according to the relocation type identifier, and recording relocation information; and sending a relocation response to the management node. In the embodiment of the present invention, the billing node determines, according to the user's key value, a billing service currently processing the user's key value, determines the relocation processing strategy according to the relocation type identifier, and performs relocation processing. In this way, the billing node, while processing the service, can still process the relocation service, thereby improving the user experience.
