<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter device for an inkjet printer in which wrinkles on a filter are suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The filter device for an inkjet printer includes: a holder including a first holding member, a second holding member fixed to the first holding member and a filter chamber surrounded by the first holding member and the second holding member; and the filter which is a metal film partitioning the filter chamber and includes a filtering part where a plurality of holes are formed, and an outer peripheral part integrally provided with the filtering part and surrounding the filtering part. The outer peripheral part of the filter is formed thicker than the filtering part, and includes: a plurality of first portions arranged at intervals and sandwiched between the first holding member and the second holding member; and second portions which are crushed between the first portions, thereby making the cross section of a gap between the first portions narrower than the cross section of the hole of the filtering part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
