<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporation leak check system capable of maintaining high leak check accuracy for a long period time with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A pump 20 driven by a motor 30 is connected to a fuel tank 3 by a pump passage 40. When the inside of the fuel tank 3 is depressurized during the driving of the pump 20, an ECU 70 means compares a pressure of the pump passage 40 detected by a pressure sensor 50 with a preset "reference pressure Pref being a pressure when air flows through an orifice having a predetermined flow channel area", further compares a flow rate of the air flowing through the pump passage 40 detected by a flow rate sensor 60 with a preset "reference flow rate Qref being a flow rate when the air flows through the orifice at the reference pressure Pref", and thereby determines whether the leak of the evaporation from the fuel tank 3 is within an allowable range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
