<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent conveyance failure caused by adhesion of a tape to a movable edge that retreats after cutting. <P>SOLUTION: A label preparation device 1 includes: a cartridge holder 6 where a cartridge 7 is attachable and detachable; a tape feeding roller driving shaft 108 that conveys a tape 109 for a printed label including a base material tape 101 supplied from the cartridge 7; and a tape holding member 200 that is provided adjacent to a downstream of a half cutter 34 along a conveyance direction of the tape 109 for the label, wherein the tape holding member 200 prevents such a situation that, when the half cutter 34 advances, its performs cutting from one side to the another side in a layer direction and subsequently retreats to the former side from the latter side in the layer direction, contacts with the tape 109 for the label, and adheres to at least a part of the tape 109 for the label to cause deviation of the tape 109 for the label from a conveyance path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
