<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for producing dry ice pellets optimally usable for blast. <P>SOLUTION: The device 1 for producing dry ice pellets for blast includes: a molding cylinder 9 having a pressing die 5, wherein multiple nozzle holes 4 are formed at the end, and a charging hole 8 formed in the position close to the rear end to charge slice-shaped cubic dry ice and block-shaped dry ice as dry ice waste; and a cylinder device 12 attached to the molding cylinder 9. The cylinder device 12 uses a rod 11, which has the outside diameter substantially equal to the inside diameter size of the molding cylinder 9 and can open/close the charging hole, for pressing the block-shaped dry ice charged into the molding cylinder 9 toward the pressing die 5 to mold the dry ice pellets for blast from the multiple nozzle holes 4 of the pressing die 5.
