The landing gear (100) has a control device (8) that is provided with a memory device (9), and an operating device (13) for controlling g a damper device. The control device enables memory device to store distance-based data on current operating state. The control device provides signal for controlling damping characteristics of damper device based on the distance-based data stored in the memory device.
