PURPOSE: An edge separation method and a solar battery thereof are provided to improve the efficiency of a manufactured solar battery by improving the collection rate of a carrier with a doped wall. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor layer has an opposite conductive type on the surface of a semiconductor substrate(110). A reflection barrier layer blocks sun light reflection to the upper part of an emitter layer(112). An edge separation executes a groove forming and doping process by a laser and a dopant of the conductive type which is the same as the semiconductor substrate. The semiconductor substrate has a first conductive type. |
