In a washing machine for which operational information related to washing operation is set by means of unidirectional wireless communications, washing rotation undesired by a user is caused due to the fact of preventing incomplete reception of operational information. A full-automatic washing machine is provided with a first control portion (66), a reception portion (68), a main body display portion (DP) disposed on an upper panel, and a remote controller (100) separated from the main body display portion (DP). The remote controller (100) comprises a setting button (120) used for setting operational information of washing operation, a second control portion (160), an information display portion (140), and a sending portion (180). The second control portion (160) enables the operational information set by means of the setting button (120) to be displayed by the information display portion (140), and enables the sending portion (180) to send the operational information to the reception portion (68) by means of wireless communications. When the first control portion (66) receives the operational information, the first control portion (66) lights a mode display portion (65) of the main body display portion until the washing operation starts by using a received color corresponding to the operational information, such as blue.
