PURPOSE: A balance weight manufacturing method and a balance weight manufactured by the same are provided to prevent a steel powder compound from being stuck to a mold or press die by employing upper and lower cases. CONSTITUTION: A balance weight manufacturing method is as follows. Steel powder and an adhesive material are mixed to obtain a steel powder compound(120). A lower case(110) for forming the lower part of a balance weight is arranged on a mold(50) and the steel powder compound is put into the top of the lower case. An upper case(130) for forming the upper part of a balance weight covers the upper side of the steel powder compound. The lower and upper cases are pressed to get close to each other, thereby obtaining a molded product. The molded product is separated from the cases.
