PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to stably obtain a pre-tilt angle which is from 0 to 90 degrees. CONSTITUTION: An upper substrate(10) and a lower substrate(20) face each other with an interval corresponding a liquid crystal cell gap between them. The upper substrate and the lower substrate have facing surfaces. A liquid crystal layer(30) is interposed between the facing surfaces. A double alignment film is formed between one facing surface and the liquid crystal layer. The double alignment film has a vertical alignment film and a horizontal alignment film. |
