<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suppress a change of regeneration performance irrespective of the accumulation of an internal combustion residue, in a particulate filter with a catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The particulate filter 16 with the catalyst has a PM oxide catalyst which is held by a filter body 27 and oxidizes and removes a particulate having carbon as a main component. The particulate filter 16 has a catalyst coating part 30 which is arranged at an exhaust inlet side, and in which the oxide catalyst is arranged, and a catalyst non-coating part 32 which is arranged at an exhaust outlet side, and in which the oxide catalyst is not arranged. The particulate filter is regulated so that a partial coating ratio X being a ratio of the length of the catalyst coating part 30 with respect to the whole length and a regeneration ratio E generated by the removal of the particulate may satisfy a prescribed relationship. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
