<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material processing device capable of suppressing contacts with a user when a delivery member provided on each of a plurality of recording material housing parts is in operation. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 of the present invention comprises: an image forming part for performing an image formation on paper; loading parts 60, 65 for loading the paper on which processing is performed by the image forming part; a plurality of housing parts which respectively include a delivery member which delivers the paper to each of the loading parts 60, 65, and house paper; cover members 80, 90 which are openably and closably provided respectively on the plurality of housing parts and cover the housing parts; a transference mechanism for transferring the paper to either of the plurality of housing parts; and control means for controlling the transference mechanism, when either of the cover members 80, 90 is open, to avoid transferring the paper to a housing part provided with an open cover member 80 or 90, but to transfer the paper to a housing part provided with a closed cover member 80 or 90. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
