<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive method for producing epoxidized diene-based rubber suitable as a raw material of a rubber composition, having excellent production efficiency, and not generating waste liquid such as cleaning water, concerning production of the epoxidized diene-based rubber, and to provide a rubber composition containing the epoxidized diene-based rubber. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for producing epoxidized diene-based rubber, organic acid and hydrogen peroxide solution as epoxidation catalysts are added to diene-based rubber, and then kneaded by using mechanical shear force, to thereby generate epoxidation, wherein the addition ratio of the organic acid is such a ratio that one carboxyl group exists to 50-500 unsaturated bonds in the diene-based rubber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
