<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar thermal collector which allows higher heat collection efficiency by effectively utilizing the solar light made incident on area near the ends of a mirror reflector on the side opposite to the direction in which the sun is located. <P>SOLUTION: The solar thermal collector is configured so that reflected light of the sunlight Sb1, Sb2 made incident on the mirror reflector 1 of a trough-type having a parabolic cross-section is collected to a thermal collector tube 2 installed at the focus position of the mirror reflector 1 and energy is transmitted to heat medium circulating in the thermal collector tube 2. The solar thermal collector is disposed so that the central axis L1 of the mirror reflector 1 runs along the north/south axis, and planar mirror reflectors 3 are arranged so as to be orthogonal to the central axis L1 at the ends of the mirror reflector 1 on the side where the sun is located and the opposite side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
