<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desktop cutter which is excellent in work efficiency by improving the efficiency of dust collection when it cuts a workpiece with the maximum height of processing or near to the maximum height of processing. <P>SOLUTION: In the desktop cutter, in which a holder 5 is erected at the rear of a base 1 and a round saw 11 is supported, freely of up and down rocking to the topside of the base, at the upper front of the holder 5 and a protective cover 28 jacketing the lower part of this saw edge 18 rotates to the side of a powder exhaust 11a while abutting on a workpiece 35, a notch 28a is provided at the periphery of a protective cover 28 which lies in the direction 32 of discharge of powder that is discharged when it cuts the workpiece 35 with the maximum height of processing or near to the maximum height of processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
