<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that is compact and easily assembled. <P>SOLUTION: An optical scanner 11 includes: a light source 101 that emits laser beams; a deflector 104 that reflects the laser beams to be deflected; a scanning lens 105 that allows the laser beams deflected by the deflector 104 to be scanned on the surface of a photoreceptor 14 at a constant velocity; a reflector 106 that includes on the front face thereof a reflection surface for reflecting laser beams deflected toward the outside of the photoreceptor 14 and transmitted through the scanning lens 105; and a synchronization sensor 108 that receives laser beams reflected by the reflection surface and outputs a detection signal indicating the reception. The reflection surface is a curved surface in an arc shape having a greater degree of concave curvature from both sides of the main scanning direction, that is the scanning direction of the laser beams, to the center of the main scanning direction. The reflector 106 is disposed at a position where the center position of the main scanning direction of the reflection surface is displaced by a predetermined range from the center position of the main scanning direction of the reflector 106 in the direction of movement of the laser beams in the main scanning direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
