<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable finding method and device that can dispense with a cable for transmitting, to a receiver positioned in a searched place, a detection signal of a searched-for cable to be detected in the vicinities of a signal injecting point. <P>SOLUTION: A cable finding device comprises a magnetoelectric transducer that detects magnetic flux generated by a searched-for cable in the vicinities of an electromagnetic conversion element; memory means that records first phase information acquired from a reception search signal; and a phase determination circuit that compares second phase information acquired from the reception search signal detected in the searched place by the magnetoelectric transducer with the first phase information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
