<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formulation for improving airway inflammation, which has a function to promote mucociliary motion against foreign matter such as an allergen, e.g., virus, dust, bacteria, pollen and the like, to remove such foreign matter without inhibiting the suppressing action for airway inflammation by an antihistamine agent, adrenaline α receptor agonist or steroid-based anti-inflammatory drug. <P>SOLUTION: The formulation for improving airway inflammation contains an airway inflammation suppressing component and a volatile ciliary motion accelerator.
