The inner ring has a center ring (14) holding a running surface (17) of a tapered roller bearing on an outer peripheral surface. An outboard (18) of the bearing is formed on an axial side surface of a side ring (15). The center ring together with the side ring for accommodating a rollable tapered roller forms the multi-part inner ring. The axial side surface of the side ring turned towards the center ring and/or an axial side surface (19) of the center ring turned towards the side ring are conically formed. An independent claim is also included for a tapered roller bearing i.e. wheel bearing, including multi-part inner rings.
