PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent reduction in opening ratio without forming a contact hole to a part of a spacer. CONSTITUTION: A first display plate(100) includes a plurality of pixel areas. A second display plate(200) faces with the first display plate. A liquid crystal layer(3) is located between the first display plate and the second display plate. A spacer maintains interval between the first display plate and the second display plate. An insulating film(140) is formed on the first display plate. |
