PURPOSE: A cross tool post having an angle adjuster is provided to implement machining of inclined grooves, tapered surface, circular arc, or slots of complicated shape because a housing is moved in a B-axis direction by a worm shaft and a worm wheel. CONSTITUTION: A cross tool post comprises a drive motor(10) which generates a driving force and a servo motor(20) which adjusts the angle of the tool post. The drive motor transfers the power to a vertical spindle(13) and a horizontal spindle(19), wherein the vertical spindle is coupled with a rotary tool(14) and a housing(16) is formed outside of the horizontal spindle. The housing, to which a worm wheel(23) is coupled, is moved in a B-axis direction by the rotation of a worm shaft driven with the servo motor. |
