PURPOSE: A tunnel construction method using a double-excavation method is provided to minimize vibration and noise transferred to the ground when a tunnel is excavated. CONSTITUTION: A tunnel construction method using a double-excavation method is as follows. A lower pre-excavation part(110) is excavated along the longitudinal direction of a tunnel. A residual tunnel part located at the top of the lower pre-excavation part is excavated. Muck falling to the lower pre-excavation part when the residual tunnel part is excavated is removed.
