<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of decreasing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A write-read control unit 53 controls a switching operation between a readable line memory and a writable lime memory alternately within a first line memory and a second line memory 51a and 51b. When image data on one line is written on the line memory, a white line determination unit 31 determines whether an image corresponding to image data on the line is a white line or not.
