<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge a charge of a capacitor while damage of an element of a power converter is prevented and to realize miniaturization, to reduce weight and cost when a capacitor for energy accumulation to a power converter exceeds an overvoltage level. <P>SOLUTION: An operation of a power converter 3 is stopped and a line breaker 4 is turned off by an overvoltage detection signal Sov from overvoltage detecting means 20 in accordance with overvoltage detection of a capacitor 5. When charge voltage Vc of the capacitor 5, which is detected by voltage detecting means 10, is larger than induced voltage Vm of a synchronous machine 2 and the overvoltage detection signal Vov is outputted, a switching element 7 is turned on by an overvoltage suppression signal Scc from an overvoltage suppression means 30 and the capacitor 5 is discharged. When current Iu flowing in the synchronous machine 2, which is detected by a current detecting means 16, is larger than a reference value Imax, the overvoltage suppression signal Scc is compulsorily interrupted, the switching element 7 is turned off and the discharge of the capacitor 5 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
