<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry treatment technique for reducing the molecular weight of the head part and outer shell of shrimp in waste shellfish, a method for drying and sterilizing waste shellfish capable of producing a dried sterilized shrimp powder from which low-molecular weight amino acids are easily extracted, and also to provide the dried sterilized powder of shellfish. <P>SOLUTION: The dried sterilized powder of waste shellfish or a solution containing such useful components is produced by impregnating the head or outer shell of shrimp being a waste shellfish with a pineapple enzyme fruit juice containing natural mineral ions, drying and sterilizing using a superheated steam and then pulverizing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
