Provided is a radiation detector that reduces as needed the time for data to be read externally, and increases the frame rate. The radiation detector (100), which has a plurality of single-photon-counting imaging cells, is provided with: imaging cells (1) that generate a detection signal in response to radiation strength; digitizing circuits (5) that digitize the detection signal; data reading structures (11) that count the digitized detection signals and store the digitized detection signals as data bits; and a delivery register (13) that controls the input of predetermined data bits output from the data reading structures (11) at a data shift that is in accordance with a first clock (Pck), and as a result of the control, stores the input data bits, and delivers data bits stored at a data shift that is in accordance with a second clock (Sck). |
