<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ascertain the result of processing executed during the interruption period of communication even in a case that the communication is interrupted by the unexpected situation. <P>SOLUTION: This medical image processing system includes a server equipped with a processing part and a screen forming part. In the processing part, application for forming or editing a medical image on the basis of the indication from a client is executed and the screen forming part receives the processing result of the application to form a screen to thereby distribute the same to the client. Further, the server is equipped with a cutting detection part, a screen memory part and screen memory control part. The cutting detection part detects that the communication with the client is interrupted and the screen memory control part is constituted so as to store the screen, which is formed during a predetermined first period on the basis of the detection timing of the interruption with the communication, in the screen memory part.
