A portable phone having a memo writing function for a memory and a method thereof are provided to give a user the memo writing function by using a memo window which is changed in various shapes and sizes. A memo window is activated in a displayer(S200). Memo information is input through an input module(S210). The input memo information is displayed on the activated memo window(S220). The size of the memo window or the font size of the memo window is adjusted by an amount of the input memo information such that the input memo information is fully displayed on the memo window(S240). The input of the memo information is achieved through a touch screen of the displayer. The memo information is input through a key pad included in the portable terminal. |
