PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating food waste is provided to effectively cool air by slowing the speed of air along a flow path and generating turbulence. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treating food waste includes a main body equipped with a drying chamber, a stirrer, a heater, and a deodorizing unit. The deodorizing unit includes a cooling case(410), a fan, and a cooling unit. The cooling case is composed of a main body(413) and a plurality of partitions(414, 415). A sucking hole(411) and an exhausting hole(412) in connection with the drying chamber are formed around the main body. The partitions connect the sucking hole and the exhausting hole to form a flow path in the form of zigzag. The sucking hole is formed at the front part of the main body. A draining hole for condensed water from the cooling case is formed at one rear side of the bottom of the main body. The rear side of the main body is slanted. |
