PURPOSE: A ship having a smart nuclear reactor is provided to desalinate seawater using steam generated from a smart nuclear reactor, and to use the desalinated water to a ballast system of the ship. CONSTITUTION: A ship comprises a smart nuclear reactor(10), a propelling device(20), a seawater desalinating facility(30), and a ballast system(40). The propelling device propels the ship using the energy generated from the smart nuclear reactor. The seawater desalinating facility desalinates seawater using steam generated from the smart nuclear reactor. The ballast system makes ship ballast using the water desalinated by the seawater desalinating facility.
