<p>The method involves utilizing turbo-compressor (11) to vary flow of intake air at less loads of a positive ignition engine (10). The turbo-compressor is utilized in usual manner at full loads of the engine. A turbine (12) is used as a compressor (14) and the compressor is used as the turbine at full loads when reverses functions of a turbine and of the compressor. The usual inlets (28a, 46) of the compressor and the turbine are used as outlets, and usual outlets (28, 31) of the compressor and the turbine are used as inlets. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling flow intake air of a positive ignition engine.</p> |
