<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating pier having at least two pontoon units connected by a connector, which achieves a function of absorbing the displacement of the relative position of the units to each other and a function of obtaining resilience to the initial state of the relative position of the units to each other. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 2 has a chain 5 which is arranged in an approximately N-shaped or S-shaped configuration, and a rubber material 4 which covers the outer periphery of the chain 5. The approximately N-shaped or S-shaped configuration of the connector 2 includes components from a first fixing part 10a for fixing to a first pontoon unit 3a, through a second contact part 11b contactable with a second pontoon unit 3b, and a first contact part 11a contactable with the first pontoon unit 3a, in sequence, and to a second fixing part 10b for fixing to the second pontoon unit 3b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
