<p>Provided is a method capable of serial transmission of data having varying data values in a constant short period while increase in power consumption is suppressed. A first data sequence conversion circuit (121) and a second data sequence conversion circuit (122) in a liquid crystal controller (10) perform, in each specified time period, data sequence conversion for data included in an input image signal (Din). A data sequence is converted by inverting a predetermined bit value of each data. The data after the data sequence conversion are transmitted to a source driver (200) as a digital video signal (DV1). A first data sequence reconstruction circuit (221) and a second data sequence reconstruction circuit (222) in the source driver (200) apply, to the data included in the digital video signal (DV1), a data sequence conversion similar to that applied by the liquid crystal controller (10).</p> |
