The invention relates to a method for producing a laminate for a security document and/or valuable document containing at least a first polymer layer, a second polymer layer, and a security feature to be laminated between the first polymer layer and the second polymer layer, comprising the following method steps: a) at least one side of the security feature or the side of the first polymer layer facing the security feature is coated with an adhesive, which is reactive, b) the first polymer layer and the security feature are positioned relative to each other and contacted with each other, c) the adhesive is cross-linked, and d) the first polymer layer and the second polymer layer are laminated to each other under the influence of pressure and heat so as to include the security feature. The invention further relates to a laminate obtained in such a way and to a security document and/or valuable document having such a laminate.
