SEAMLESS BROADCASTING SERVICE SYSTEM AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A seamless broadcasting service system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to freely watch broadcast content after a point when the user stops watching the content. CONSTITUTION: A first user terminal(400a) requests broadcast content to a web server(121). The web server transmits user terminal information and broadcast content information to a head end unit(110). The head end unit transmits the broadcast content to the first user terminal through the web server. The first user terminal requests a seamless broadcasting view to the web server. The web server transmits the user terminal information and broadcast content view information to the head end unit. The head end unit transmits the broadcast content to the first user terminal through the web server from a point when the user stops watching the content.
