<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vehicle operation system capable of clarifying, when an accident occurs during automatic operation, where the responsibility lies. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic vehicle operation device 10 notifies that "the responsibility related to automatic operation of a vehicle 100 lies with the consent input person" before the automatic operation of the vehicle 100, acquires consent information and consent input person information after the notifying where the responsibility related to the automatic operation of the vehicle lies, and writes (records) the acquired consent information and consent input person information in association with each other in both of a vehicle side storage device 20 and a base station side storage device 202.
