<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grab frame by which a contact accident between the grab frame and a grab bucket hardly occurs. <P>SOLUTION: An intermediate frame 18 is installed between a main frame 12 and an anchor chain 12 in a grab frame 10. The intermediate frame 18 forms a similar figure to the main frame 12 and has a larger area of the inside of frame than the main frame 12. Rolling-up and warping of a pollution prevention curtain 14 can be suppressed by the rigidity of the intermediate frame 18 so that the grab frame 10 can be maintained in an external shape close to the original shape when being lowered in the quiet sea naturally. This reduces the occurrence rate of a contact accident between a grab bucket and the pollution prevention curtain 14. And, because the work area at the lower part than the intermediate frame 18 expands, operation burden of an operator who operates to prevent the grab bucket from contacting with the pollution prevention curtain 14 can be reduced, and work efficiency can be increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
