The automatic walking device (50) comprises: an energy storing unit (56) for supplying power for the automatic walking device (50); a docking terminal group, comprising at least a first docking terminal (60) and a second docking terminal (62); a control unit (76) for the automatic walking device, for controlling the working state of the automatic walking device (50). The charging station (10) comprises a conductive terminal group, comprising at least a first conductive terminal (16) and a second conductive terminal (18), and the conductive terminal group can be electrically connected to the docking terminal group respectively. The control unit (76) for the automatic walking device comprises: a signal transmission module (92), which sends a preset detection signal and is electrically connected to the first docking terminal (60); a signal receiving module (94), which is electrically connected to the second docking terminal (62). When the signal receiving module (94) receives a preset feedback signal corresponding to the preset detection signal, the control unit (76) for the automatic walking device confirms that the docking of the docking terminal group in the automatic walking device (50) with the conductive terminal group of the charging station (10) has succeeded. The automatic walking device (50) can reliably dock to the charging station (10) without human intervention, which brings extreme convenience to production and life.
