<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork which can detect such a possibility that a lubricant in a lubricating gap between a car body side tube and a wheel side tube leaks out beyond an oil seal in advance, dealing with the leakage of the lubricant beforehand and, thereby, blocking the leakage of enclosed air induced thereafter. <P>SOLUTION: The front fork has the lubricating gap A where the lubricant is stored while being shut-off from an external part by arranging an oil seal 12 between the car body side tube 1 and the wheel side tube 2. In the front fork, the oil seal 12 is arranged on a seal case part 1a forming an opening end part in the car body side tube 1, into which the wheel side tube 2 inserted to be projected and retracted, a liquid reservoir R adjacent to the oil seal 12 is demarcated from the lubricating gap A side on the seal case part 1a, storage liquid F is stored in the liquid reservoir R, and the storage liquid F leaks out to the outer circumference of the wheel side tube 2 projecting from the opening end part on the car body side tube beyond the oil seal 12, and thereby, it can be detected that the lubricant leaks from the lubricating gap A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
